This place suits me perfectly as it offers free wi-fi, is a non-smoking property, and has helpful staff. On my first stay, they assisted me in choosing a better taxi. I’ll be back for Christmas!

Wonderful overall experience. Exceptionally comfortable place to stay with incredible location from the tube station and fabulous food.

The dining area is spacious and overlooks a pleasant garden, making for a nice breakfast experience. Despite some criticisms elsewhere, I found it to be a decent base for exploring, especially being just a short hop away from public transport. 

Chumleigh Lodge has a homey vibe with comfy beds and a surprise full English breakfast, even if the sausages weren't the best. Just be ready for a few quirks. the fridge in my room was super noisy! a decent short stay.

The bread toasts at breakfast were a culinary dream! With the local gem, Tennesseeland Chicken just down the road (0.5 km), you can feast like royalty. Plus, the welcoming owner let us check 

The room was cozy with a fridge and coffee maker. Easy 5-minute walk to the tube!

i was absolutely taken aback by the shower that didn't work very well, i mean, seriously? also, how am i supposed to relax in a dusty room with an annoying buzzing tv? i almost thought about giving this a good review, but where was my room upgrade or any complimentary gift?

A Mixed Experience with Some Positives

Our stay had its challenges, especially with communication and room conditions. the convenient access to the nearby restaurant with a lovely view made our evenings pleasant, providing a nice escape after a long day of exploring. Consider checking in earlier for a smoother arrival experience.

Clean room with a fridge and microwave setup made my stay enjoyable. the room was very noisy, disrupting sleep.

Loved everything.

The exterior was quite unkempt, featuring an assortment of discarded furniture and litter. Inside, numerous issues persisted. a leaking sink and a non-functional television were major inconveniences. the uncleanliness throughout was evident, as dusty surfaces and stained curtains were unacceptable for any accommodation. Despite the issues, seasonal dishes were mentioned, hinting at some culinary potential. It’s clear that immediate improvements are necessary for a satisfactory experience.
